Personal Story:
I was looking for some random stuff and this popped up in Ebay one day. It was extremely hard trying to bid on this figure because Jessica is so popular. I decided to hunt her down in some online stores instead. I finally found her after a lot of browsing around and snatched her up. I love Jessica and this figure turned up when I was actually complaining how they never made her as a figure. I really wanted her after I watched the new Who Framed Roger Rabbit DVD which, in turn, made me love the film all over again. Nostalgia is evil. :)

Introduction:
This figure is part of Medicom's Vinyl Collection Dolls series based on various Disney characters. The figure is based on the character Jessica Rabbit from the film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It features Jessica in a scene where she is performing in the nightclub. Limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide.

Sculpt:
Sexxxxyyyy. Medicom managed to capture the sexy look and attitude of Jessica incredibly well. She has a very seductive pose. What's great is that she looks EXACTLY like her movie counterpart. Every curve has been fully realized in the 3rd dimension. There is one frame in the movie where Jessica is in this exact pose. I'm really impressed they copied that image so well. The sculpt is incredibly smooth. The hair, the face, the BODY, the legs; all look fantastic. They even sculpted her eyebrows and eyelids! Wow, what an amazing attention to detail. I'm glad they didn't just paint them on her face. The details of the folds and creases in the dress are also very nice. She's very busty and very curvy just like in the movie. Yum.

It's a simple sculpt but its a sculpt that is incredible. She has ZERO articulation since this figure was meant to be displayed by collectors. Jessica looks almost like a trophy because of her pose. Sweet. Her sculpt is better than the Tinkerbell figure that I reviewed earlier for one good reason. Unlike that figure, her entire body (except the hair) looks like it was made as ONE piece. You don't see seams or gaps anywhere. Nice.

Granted, there are some minor issues. Her left hand isn't resting on her hip which is unfortunate. It would've been nice if it did. Also, I would've liked it if her mouth was closed. Personal preference. But other than that, she's perfect. The base is standard. You put her left leg onto the stub and she fits in nicely. She stands up very well and she's nice and large.

Paint:
The paint is just as good. They took the exact colors and recreated it perfectly. The skin tone and hair is spot on. No complaints here. It's very vibrant. There's one thing I should mention though. Contrary to what the photos show you, her dress is actually painted with a glitter paint. Medicom actually tried to replicate the dress she had in the nightclub with all the glitter and stuff. It's not very visible unless you look closely at her but it's there. Great decision. I thought they had used flat colors judging from the pictures on the web, but I'm glad they didn't. There are only a few very tiny spots near the edge of her dress where they missed some spots with the paint. It's near her back and legs but it's so hard to see that it's not a big deal. Almost perfect.

Overall: A+
Smooooth sculpt and paint job. They really did a great job with the figure. If it weren't for the almost perfect paint job, it would've taken my Flawless Award. This is the definitive version of Jessica Rabbit. If you're a fan or you like sexy toon girls, then you better go out and grab it! A very sexy high quality figure. Excellent job Medicom.

Where can I find this?
Pretty difficult. Jessica is one of the most popular in the series (for obvious reasons) so finding her can be tough. Good luck folks.

Other Images:

The figure in its box. The box is pretty good with the movie's theme but it's a little sparse in terms of design.

"I'm not bad, I'm just sculpted that way."

The back. Very sexy.
