Personal Story:
I was browsing around a Japanese online site and I came across it. I was a fan of the first version and this one really caught my eye so I decided to get it after it was released. I really liked the original garage kit so I was really happy to see a PVC version of it coming out.
 
Introduction:
This is from a series of figures by Kotobukiya based on popular anime characters. These figures were originally garage kits which have been made into PVC figures for the masses. The figure is based on the character Mizuki Takase from the anime, Comic Party. It depicts Mizuki in a tight bikini.
 

Sculpt:
This figure just oozes sexiness. The ultra curvaceous and voluptuous sculpt is just pure eye candy. The first version showed the slender version of Mizuki but this version went the opposite direction. Some might say that she looks a lot more curvaceous than her anime counterpart but I'm guessing we have little to complain about. :) The head sculpt bothered me a little because of the size. They stated that it's 1/6 scale on the box so I guess that's the reason why. It's slightly larger than what I was expecting. It looked odd to me but it doesn't look so bad now. The hair is finely sculpted with lots of curves and grooves. The ponytail flows very nicely over her back and butt. It looks great. The ribbon is solid and the bangs are decent. The head sculpt is nice and round and looks good. But I wish they had given her a better facial expression. She looks dead just like the first version. Good but not great.

The body is the main attraction. It's is just pure boobs and skin. The breasts look like they're about to pop out of her tiny bikini top. They are massive jugs but the cleavage wasn't executed very well. You can see that it's one piece unlike the Mizuho figure which avoided this problem. Still, it is definitely the main focus of this figure. The rest of the body is equally sexy. Mizuki looks like she's about to burst from her swimsuit. The main reason was that they sculpted her bikini straps embedded onto her skin to show how tight it is. It's a very nice effect. The left breast is tightly held in while the right breast is hanging free thanks to the fact that she's holding the strap away from her with her right hand. It looks pretty convincing. The straps themselves are fairly well done but I have to say they're a little thicker than I had wanted. It's a minor complaint. The same tight bikini effect extends to her butt and crotch. It looks great all around and really juices up the figure. I was also quite happy with the sculpt for her back and legs. I have to mention that they added some sensuality to her look from behind. The hands are decent and the feet are also fairly well sculpted with her shoes strapped on. They're not as impressive as the main body though but I liked the details. The little ribbon straps on her waist and the bracelets on her wrists are nice little details too.

The pose itself is very sexy. She's kneeling down struggling with her bikini which is very sexy. She's leaning down a bit to show off her cleavage while holding her butt up to show off her back side. I think the sculptor did a pretty good job indicating this. But I'm a little puzzled with how low she's leaning. It doesn't look that good when you see her from eye level. She looks like she's staring down at the ground which was a design flaw. I think they should've given her a base to prop her up for display. I had to prop her up myself so that she's not looking down. It's weird that Kotobukiya excluded a base to even out her pose. The figure itself has ZERO articulation so you won't be playing with it.

 

Paint:
The paint job is fairly clean with minor problems. The hair and ribbon is very clean with the red/brown and yellow. It looks remarkably similar to the first version's color scheme. The airbrushing with the hair adds some details to the hair. The skin tone is very nice and not too dark or light. The eyes are nice and clean with no problems whatsoever. I found it interesting that they painted her chest since Kotobukiya usually leaves the skin unpainted. It looks fine but it takes away the illusion of the cleavage on her. But the overall skin tone is nice and vibrant.

The bikini's paint job wasn't so good. The color scheme is the same as the first version also but the execution wasn't as good. There's a little bit of slop here and there so I was disappointed with that. The shoes were also poorly painted with some slop too. While it's not perfect, it's not a major deal since it's not too visible from a distance. I did like that they also painted the soles of her shoes. Decent job overall.

 
Overall: A
This is an uber sexy figure. Like I said, it's pure eye candy. The pose and sculpt works really well and I think adds a bit of charm the first version didn't have. If you like the anime or a big busty curvaceous anime girl in a tight bikini then it's worth checking out.
 

Where can I find this?
Kind of rare. It seems it's already sold out at most places and is discontinued. I suggest checking various online Japanese retailers and online import stores.
