Personal Story:
This is gonna be a long story. I first saw this figure in a toy review site and I fell in love with it. It was pretty awesome looking. I began to hunt for her online. But disappointingly, she was sold out at every place I can find. I was shocked since she wasn't that old. I emailed several online retailers but they all said they were sold out and wouldn't know if they would ever get any more in stock. I gave up on them and decided to hunt for her at several stores around here. No luck. She was sold out here too. Soooo, I checked a toy site that had people who wanted to sell their toys and a seller in Singapore was willing to sell her for a few bucks higher than her retail price. I jumped at the chance and emailed him. But sadly, the shipping was way too high. It basically doubled the cost of the figure itself! I tried negotiating with the seller but after several emails, I gave up on it. It wasn't worth it. I decided to check Ebay but the prices were ridiculous! The stupid scalpers were selling her for 5-8 times more than the original price! Total bullshit. It was tempting since she was so easily available there but I wasn't going to pay them for those lame prices. I tried emailing Hasbro but their customer service was awful. They didn't give me any info I wanted about the possible future re-release of the figure. After a while, I posted my hunt for this figure in a toy forum. One person (thanks man!) posted a site that was selling her with the Vader Unmasked figure. I jumped at the chance but I was broke so I couldn't afford them. I had hoped noone would buy them but they were sold out several days later. :( I gave up thinking I would never own her. But I decided to check that same site a few weeks later. Guess what? They had her with Unmasked Vader available for preorder! Plus, they were selling the pair for LESS than what was offered previously! WOW! This was my only chance for a fair price so I ordered them immediately. Several weeks later, they finally arrived. The site sold them out immediately so I guess I was one of the few people who got her when I preordered them. Phew. Damn, what a journey. I told you it was long story... :)

Introduction:
This figure was made by Hasbro. This figure is part of Hasbro's Unleashed line of figures which depict various Star Wars characters in various dynamic poses. This figure is based on the character Princess Leia from the movie, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. This figure shows Leia in her slave outfit when she was captured by Jabba the Hutt.

Sculpt:
Very sexy. This is one of the best depictions of Leia in her slave outfit. In fact, I have to say it's the BEST one. The overall pose is very dynamic and very sexy. Leia looks very feminine and dangerous at the same time. The sculpt of her face is pretty good even though it may not look like the actress. But I can't say it's her best feature. The hair is also very nice. They sculpted her braids and hair piece very well. Her braid is actually softer than the body. Nice detail. But the body is what will grab your attention. It's incredibly well sculpted and finely detailed. They managed to sculpt every little nook and cranny of her body. Everything like her muscles is well defined. Even her navel looks realistic. Wow. It's probably one of the most realistic bodies I've seen from Hasbro. Another notable feature are the hands. It's very well sculpted and quite dainty. That's something I don't see often from female figures of this type. Good job Hasbro. On the other hand, the feet may be a little too exaggerated. The way she's standing must hurt a lot. :P

The slave outfit is equally impressive. It looks remarkably close to the source material. They even sculpted the texture of the breastplates which was a nice touch. All straps and engravings were also sculpted. Very nice. The chain on her neck is okay. Her loin cloth is magnificent. Instead of it simply hanging down, they made it look like it was flapping in the wind. It's very well made and looks great. Not only that, but the loin cloth is actually made with a translucent plastic to heighten her sexuality. Uber nice.

There aren't a lot of accessories but they are well made. The spear she holds has a lot of details. The blade and all the other little things like screws were sculpted in. Pretty good. The base itself isn't very interesting. It's supposed to show a piece of Jabba's Sail Barge. It's fairly well sculpted with all the little dents and whatnot. But there's nothing truly impressive about it.

There are a few minor problems with the figure. It seems when it was in the factory, the plastic was still soft. Certain parts of the figure which had those twisties and a clear plastic band left a mark on the figure itself! There's a few dents on her right arm from the twisties. But my biggest gripe is her left hand. They used some plastic band to hold her spear in place but it left a big dent from the plastic band on her hand! There's so way I can get rid of it because it's molded there. Too bad. Hasbro, why did you bother with that stupid plastic band for her left hand? It wasn't needed to hold the spear in place! Stupid...

Anyways, the figure has ZERO articulation even though it's been labeled an action figure. It's meant to be displayed. The packaging showed her head in different positions but I tried turning the head on my figure and it's pretty much glued into place. Oh well.

Paint:
The paint is pretty nice. It's very clean overall. The colors used are good. The flesh color of the plastic isn't too dark or too pale. It's perfect. They added blush to her cheeks which looks nice and wasn't heavy handed. Her hair may be a little lighter than her movie counterpart but it's no big deal. The brass and dark blue color for her slave outfit looks good and very close to the source. The dark reddish color for her loin cloth is pretty good too The colors for her spear and base is also very nice but there's nothing outstanding about them. The brass colors for the base is mixed in with some brown to make it look dirty and banged up. The spear has some silver to indicate it's metal. Nothing too impressive but good paint job overall.

The only problem is that some parts of the body could've been cleaner. The only real annoying factor is that some paint went over. Some paint from the breastplate went over to her right breast. I can't say it's a huge problem but it was annoying since the paint job was almost perfect.

Overall: A+
This is probably the sexiest slave Leia figure available out there right now. Fans of Star Wars, Princess Leia or sexy female figures will love it! If it weren't for some of the problems I mentioned above, it would've gotten a Flawless Award. But it's still a must-have figure.

Where can I find this?
Incredibly hard. Due to overwhelming high demand and low distribution, this figure is almost impossible to find in any retail store. Your best bet would be on Ebay where you'd have to pay for the incredibly high prices. Sorry to say, but you'll have to deal with those evil Ebay scalpers to get her. Good luck my friend.

UPDATE: Hasbro decided to rerelease her with new packaging so if you missed out the first time, you can look for the rerelease.

Other Images:

The figure in its packaging. Cool design but a bit simplified. The photos they took of the figure could've been better.

"Hey Han, wanna wrestle?"

Great body sculpt.

The full figure with the accessories. Pretty impressive.

The back. Very revealing.
